Tin Ornaments

These Tin Christmas Ornaments are from Oaxaca.  The tin art is hand painted and an excellent example of tin arts and crafts.  These ornaments are of the finest from Mexico.  The tin is hand tapped into shape and cut with wire snips.  The origin of this art and craft has been a long tradition of embellishing and decorating for festivals and holidays.  This method is also used to make candelabras, mirrors, and figures.
